Biography
Stephen Hennessy brings his experience in international tax and mergers and acquisitions to his current work handling transactional matters for clients across numerous industries including. Originally from New Jersey, Stephen is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.
Early in his career, Stephen achieved success helping to defend and settle multiple claims against commercial businesses involving premises liability, product liability, trip and falls, and commercial trucking accidents. He also gained significant experience analyzing the tax liabilities of U.S. based international companies, which enabled him to develop beneficial tax strategies for his clients.
While in law school at Charleston School of Law, Stephen earned numerous Cali awards in Constitutional Law and Intellectual Property law, and volunteered to complete tax returns for members of the community who were in need of assistance. He earned an LLM in International Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, where he also received an award in EU Tax Law. Outside of work, Stephen enjoys participating in 5K and 10K charity runs and has completed the Broad Street and Cooper River Bridge runs.
