Biography
Serena R. David has garnered extensive experience in workers’ compensation litigation, representing clients throughout New York State. She works primarily with employers in the retail and hospitality industries as well as with insurance carriers and third-party administrators who specialize in workers’ compensation matters.
Throughout her career, Serena has been successful in obtaining multiple findings of section 114-a violations. She was able obtain permanent disqualifications to future indemnity benefit after proving the claimant made material misrepresentations in order to obtain Worker’s Compensation benefits,
During law school, Serena gained hands-on legal experience through internships with NYS Supreme Court Justice Deborah Haendiges and the Erie County District Attorney office on matters of domestic violence. While awaiting admittance to the Bar, she interned in the Regional Counsel Office at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Buffalo, NY.
