Samuel J. Earp

Biography

Samuel Earp, who relocated to Sarasota, Florida in 2022, is a licensed attorney in both Ohio and Florida. He focuses his practice on workers’ compensation issues, representing public entities and private retail clients.

In recent workers’ compensation matters, Sam has been successful in obtaining favorable settlements, judicial denials of requests for medical treatment, and payment of indemnity benefits. In addition, Sam has experience handling appeals work in Florida’s 1st District Court of Appeals.

During his time at Ohio State, Sam was a member of a not-for-profit association, Ohio Staters, Inc., that focused on improving the greater Columbus, Ohio area through public projects. Sam worked in and around the Ohio state government for several years, including as an assistant in the House of Representatives, a lobbyist for private transportation entities, and as a logistics coordinator at the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio.
