Miriama Roc

Biography

Earlier in her career, Miriama represented clients in consumer bankruptcy, debt and foreclosure defense, and personal injury defense. In 2015, Miriama began focusing her practice on defending employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters in Florida. She currently represents employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators throughout the state of Florida.

Miriama has experience in litigating Florida workers’ compensation cases from the inception of litigation through mediation and trial. Her experience includes negotiating settlements, conducting all aspects of discovery, advocating for the interest of her clients, and working with clients to develop strategic plans to achieve the best outcomes for the client. Miriama is motivated to help her clients obtain favorable results in and out of the courtroom.

Miriama earned her Juris Doctor degree from New England School of Law in Boston. She is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of The Florida Bar and is also admitted to the U.S. Courts for the Southern, Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts of the Southern, Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.

Outside of work, Miriama enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.
