Biography
In her role as Office and Personnel Manager, Maurisa De Grazia is responsible for overseeing all areas related to personnel management across the firm’s current seven state footprint. She handles recruiting of administrative staff; onboarding of all new employees; maintaining employee records and ensuring security of personnel information; fostering a collegial and positive workplace; implementing employee benefits; and establishing and updating firm policies and performance management feedback.
Before joining Vaughan Baio, Maurisa served for seven years as the Food and Beverage Director at a prestigious resort and golf club in southern New Jersey. In that position, she managed over 100 employees across the club’s numerous client-facing amenities, including dining, banquet and golf. Leading a diverse workforce, Maurisa gained an understanding of how to motivate employees and help them excel in their positions.
Through her dedication and hard work, Maurisa earned a position as a Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader. She held the position for five years, including the team’s run to SuperBowl52 victory in 2018. The Eagles’ cheerleading director saw inherent leadership qualities in Maurisa, and in an historical move for the squad, she was elected captain in her second year. During her work with the Eagles, Maurisa participated in charities including Alex’s Lemonade Stand, Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia, and traveled to Mexico, where the squad brought shoes and clothing to children in need. Maurisa earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Stockton University, in hospitality and business management, graduating summa cum laude.
