Biography
Marydenyse Ommert focuses her practice in workers’ compensation litigation, defending insurance carriers, self-insureds and employers across numerous industries, including long term care facilities, construction and trucking, just to name a few. She brings more than 20 years of experience in defending workers’ compensation claims for clients throughout Florida.
In addition to representing business clients, Marydenyse has also represented education and law enforcement entities in the public sector. She has defended the Miami-Dade County School Board, the Palm Beach County School Board, the City of Miami Beach Police Department, and the Sheriff’s offices of Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Marydenyse is licensed with both the State and Federal Bars in Florida. She earned her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University, School of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida. Outside of work, Marydenyse enjoys boating, fishing, skiing and riding motorcycles but treasures spending time with her family most of all.
