Biography
Christopher Wisniewski brings more than 25 years of experience to his work as a commercial transactional attorney, focusing on corporate and real estate matters for clients throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. It became clear early on that clients were in need of skilled representation for both corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, business formations, contract drafting and negotiations, and real estate matters, involving leasing, acquisitions and divestitures, tax appeals, and land use applications. Chris has garnered significant experience achieved from handling many complex, intricate and challenging commercial matters for clients across numerous industries. Realizing the importance of an established industry to the economic engine in New Jersey, Chris worked to establish himself as the go to legal counselor for restaurant, hospitality and casino clients. For these niche clients, Chris handles matters involving zoning, liquor licenses, franchise agreements, leasing, permitting and regulation, and financing and acquisitions.
Recently, Chris has handled multiple “F” reorganizations with private equity funding in excess of $30 million in the medical publication and fertility practice spaces. He has negotiated several leases for a local pizza franchise in South Jersey, Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania suburbs, and successfully appealed real estate tax appeals for credit unions, shopping centers and industrial spaces. Having served as vice-chairman of the Zoning Board of Adjustment in Washington Township, Chris puts his insight to work handling planning and zoning board applications for clients in South Jersey. He is also well versed in New Jersey cannabis law and frequently provides advice to businesses on cannabis compliance and business operations.
Chris is a frequent speaker for NBI, Inc. on cannabis topics in New Jersey such as drafting operating agreements. He earned his B.A. from Rutgers University- Camden, his M.S. from Villanova University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Florida, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
